 What MMLA means to me?

It's a special sisterhood of judgement free women who support you as a mom, encourage you as a woman & hang out with you as a friend. It's also a unique environment where your kids grow up with this beautiful extended family they will have for a lifetime.

The hardest part about being a Mom?

Balancing: work, wifehood, fitness, & social life (whats that :) with being a mom. Constantly fighting that voice inside of me that tells me I'm not doing enough. Adjusting our very social kid-free lifestyle to more family friendly events.

The most rewarding part about being a Mom?

Realizing my life (my true power and strength as a woman) really began when I became a mom. Watching the joy she has when she  learns something new or experiences something fun for the first time. The hugs, kisses and snuggles she gives me.

 What are my hobbies?

Poetry, Hiking & Yoga, Live concerts, Brunch with my girlfriends, Watching romantic comedies.

What MMLA means to me?

I see Mocha Moms as community of like minded mothers who are willing to help one other, outreach, a sisterhood which have similar ideas and concerns.  This group provides an abundance of resources, a safe place to share concerns and issues where other moms can provide positive and productive feedback because of their experiences.

The hardest part about being a Mom?

The hardest thing about being a mom is you have to be superwoman.  A moms job never ends and we are consistently juggling schedules to make sure our kids are taken care of. Sleep, hilarious what is sleep. I haven’t had sleep in 2 1/2 years.  I have adapted to being a zombie. Lol lol  One of the other things which is challenging being a mom, is ensuring their education is up to par.  No matter how tired I may be I am always making sure he’s learning.

The most rewarding part about being a Mom?

The most rewarding thing to being a mom is the joy of coming home to see that bright smile and reminding me of how important I am to him.

What are my hobbies?

Movies, sporting events, traveling, concerts
